Dr. Niko and Mrs. Hermien Njotorahardjo
Niko Njotorahardjo was born on February 20, 1949 in the small East Java town of Bondowoso, Indonesia. Hermien Irawati, his wife, was also born there on June 29, 1953. They married and began together a life of ministry on November 19, 1972.
Pastor Niko founded the GEREJA BETHEL INDONESIA, “Jl. Jend. Gatot Subroto” congregation in Jakarta, Indonesia on September 4, 1988, with 400 persons. The congregation birthed with the DNA of the Restoration of the Tabernacle of David, which Pastor Niko defines as “prayer, praise and worship, together in unity, day and night.” During 35 years, the church has grown to 330,000 members, worshipping in 1,100 branches with approximately 8,000 cell groups, and twenty-six 24/7 “Prayer Towers.”
Pastor Niko has written or co-written 46 Scripture-based Indonesian praise and worship songs, recorded nine albums, conducted 318 Healing Movement Ministry crusades, and established at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary (2016) the “Niko Njotorahardjo Endowed Chair for the Restoration of the Tabernacle of David.”
As the Messenger of the Third Pentecost, Pastor Niko is totally committed to the completion of the Great Commission in the Spirit and Power of the Third Pentecost. In April 2022, Pastor Niko launched the Third Pentecost Azusa Street Prayer Tower in Los Angeles, California, a short distance from the original Azusa Street location.
Pastor Niko received a Doctor of Divinity from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary (USA, 2001), and a Doctor of Theology from Hansei University (Korea, 2014).
The Lord blessed the Njotorahardjo’s with a son, Billy, and daughter-in-law, Milka, and two grandchildren, Bryan and Janice.
Their legacy will live on in the multitude of lives they have touched in the Spirit and Power of Pentecost!
